Working with dancers for this project made me realize how dance is as much conceptual as it is aesthetic and technical. Dance has been a great way to bring form to some of my ideas.
Cincinnati had a big downpour this afternoon. It left some epic clouds formations. I think I like clouds so much because their scale is difficult to discern and they are always changing, never the same.
So excited to announce Art of Parts 2.0! Save the date for Aug. 20. I’ll be showing with Phillip Lavelle at the Phyllis Weston Gallery in Obryonville. The show is called “Simultaneous.” I’ll be sending updates in the next few weeks before the show!
Can there be anything new in art? Art of Parts is not new, but also completely new.
Freitag bags are inspiring. They reuse existing vinyl tarps and signs and cut them up into very cool bags. Through this process you get an original, one-of-a-kind product.
